Her acclaimed life as an actor began with the film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in which she was the character Ginny in 2001. Her role was small initially, but her character Ginny took on more importance over the course of the eight-film epic. As Ginny she was featured in the small-screen series Stranded (2002) as well as Agatha Christie: A Life in Pictures (2004). Alongside her acting, she has shown talents in many other areas. It is believed that the Jackson Koehler Eagle Brewery was established within Erie Pennsylvania in 1847 by her family. John Martin Magenau Jr., the President and Chief Executive Officer of this brewery, was the first to establish it at Erie Pennsylvania in 1847 until 1978. Jacobs went to Pittsburgh's Pittsburgh Playhouse on Saturdays to enroll in acting classes. When she was 8 she began studying acting. Mt. Jacobs left Lebanon High School and moved to New York City in 2000. There she became part of the Drama Division of Group 33. Her bachelor's degree was awarded in the year 2004.
